25 maple wood cubes with geometric figures: each cube is painted red with a circle, a quarter circle segment, triangle, rectangle or square. by adding block on block the form of a castle, a forest at night, flowers or a locomotive is produced. ornabo plays the game of abstraction with us. the single basic form stands in space without association – but combined they lead us to believe that the whole world consists only of circles, triangles and rectangles, thus allowing us to look at the basic structures of the language of forms. the 25 stackable maple cubes have an edge length of 3.5 cm each. enclosed are eight examples of abstract and nine examples of representational patterns.
