decoration and function - the compression spring is a decorative and at the same time flexible element. in the spring ring, three silver wires are wound like a coiled compression spring. another design and functional element are the two rods that fix the wires at their ends and in their position. as a result, the circumference of the spring washer can be adjusted by a size. the result is both a bendable and aesthetic tension, which is the essence of the piece of jewellery. the ring is also wearable for fingers with disctinctive joints. the italian designer couple has established themselves as an architect duo and is best known for their furniture and lighting design. in this piece of jewellery, too, its industrial and constructive design is clearly visible.
