teapot warmer wagenfeld – design wilhelm wagenfeld

a noble classic for keeping tea warm - a three-legged frame made of nickel-plated brass frames a cylindrical opal glass body. the warmer was created during the time when wilhelm wagenfeld was head of the metal workshop of the bauhochschule, the successor school of the bauhaus in weimar. the combination of metal and glass, the additive design, the clearly visible bolted joints and the bent sheet metal are typical of many objects from this period.
