johannes itten developed his version of the colour circle in 1961. its graphic-systematic representation is perfect for teaching the behaviour of mixed and adding colours. 12 colours are shown on the outer circle: including the primary colours yellow, red, and blue, the secondary colours orange, green, and violet, and another six intermediate colours. the complementary colours face each other in a circle. inside the circle, the primary and secondary colours are illustrated separately. in addition to light and dark cloudiness, the ink box also offers a black and an opaque white. several recesses are integrated into the lid of the box for mixing the water-soluble colour pigments. caution - not suitable for children under 36 months. opaque ink box in accordance with din 5023.
